A new website has been set up that is dedicated to IEEE802.3af Power Over Ethernet technology. Check it out at www.poweroverethernet.com. The site is designed to provide those interested in this new Ethernet technology with a forum to exchange all types of information and knowledge.

The web site (www.kontron.com) includes comprehensive information about the product range, including datasheets and manuals which can be downloaded, and there is world-wide coverage with some material available in multiple languages.
Jetter's online shop
Jetter AG has added an online shop to its web site, making it possible to order specific items and get the latest information about the product range. The shop is clearly organised and covers the product range in both German and English. Users can register to get up-to-date information on new products and it can be found through the Products menu item at www.jetter.de. Actual purchasing is via quotation rather than online payment.

As well as product details and documentation, the Hayes Controls web site (www.hayescontrols.co.uk) includes a good introduction to the basics of PC-based control. Beckhoff Automation's products use this technology to implement high performance control systems.
