Wind
River has released Tornado for Intelligent Network Acceleration
(TINA) for iSCSI Initiators. TINA for iSCSI Initiators bundles Wind
River's TINA TCP/IP offload engine with an internet SCSI (iSCSI)
protocol layer, providing network equipment manufacturers with all
necessary the hardware and software components needed to develop
iSCSI-based storage networking devices.
Exploiting
the reduced costs, interoperability and performance of Ethernet
and TCP/IP, iSCSI promises to find wide adoption in the storage
networking market.
