Temperature control on micro PLC

A new compact temperature control expansion module has been released for Mitsubishi's FX2N PLC range. The new PID loop control expansion block, the FX2N-2LC, has two independent control channels. Each can be connected to all common thermocouple types.

Any FX2N PLC can have up to eight of the new two-loop controllers connected as expansion blocks. And each FX2N-2LC will operate completely independently with its own PID loop control ability from the main PLC CPU. All the PID loop algorithm and control processing is done in the block itself by its own processor.
