Log and replay CAN-messages without the need for a PC

Canlogger is an intelligent and versatile device, which is able to log and replay CAN-Messages without a connection to a PC or similar device. As an option the CAN-data can be logged with a real time-stamp. Another feature of CANlogger is the ability to make CAN-level measuring for signal quality analysis.

The device where all the data is saved to is a standard PC-Card (PCMCIA). It can be used in each PC or laptop to view or edit the recorded information. The large amount of free memory enables CANlogger to be used as a long-term data logger. Thus it provides recordings of even rare CAN-events which can be used for problem analysis.

A further feature is the simple method of uploading new system-software by

PC-Card. This enables the user of the CANlogger to adapt the device to his special needs without needing a laptop or PC, for example to change the device from a data-logger to a special service tool.

The large graphical display and 4 push buttons provide the CANlogger with an effective user interface. A 16-Bit microcontroller with 512 Kbytes SRAM and 1 MB Flash provide ample performance to process and display all necessary information. With its robust housing and high EMV-Resistance, the CANlogger is also well suited to operating in harsh environments.
