Interbus Inline modules with HART functionality

Phoenix Contact's new IB IL AI 2/HART Inline module is a two-channel analogue input module (4-20mA) for connecting HART field devices, making HART functionality available to the Interbus Inline automation system. From the control level, a configuration tool can be used to access and modify connected HART field devices.

Communications are carried out using the standard Interbus PCP protocol. On each of the two channels, information can be exchanged with connected devices independently of each other in point-to-point or multi-drop mode. Furthermore, the new IB IL AI 2/HART module offers all the features of the standard Inline analogue input module.
