New motor concept speeds

Collaboration
between Harting and motor manufacturer Brook Crompton has resulted
in a range of motors which can be quickly and easily installed,
replaced and maintained without the need for specialist electricians
or mechanical fitters.
Harting will
be demonstrating the concept at the Drives & Controls Exhibition
this month, with Han-Drive connectors mounted on Brook Crompton
motors. The innovative plug-in approach eliminates the need for
a motor terminal box and board that typically incorporates at least
six terminals for all supply cables and any auxiliaries in an industrial
motor installation.
