This mini cube provides you with a multi-application computer

ADlink Technology has announced its GEME (General Embedded Machine Engine) series embedded computer, which is available in three base configurations all featuring low voltage fanless processors and a host of extension modules. GEME is designed for applications such as machine controller, distributed soft logic controller, visual inspection system, and factory automation controller.

The GEME is rugged and compact and integrates an embedded SBC and power supply unit with optional storage peripherals, such as CompactFlash or a 2.5in hard drive. With multiple mounting schemes, the modular chassis concept allows one PMC and multiple PC/104 modules to be added to the base system block. Examples of optional modules include video capture, gigabit Ethernet interface, remote I/O, RS232/422/485 serial communications, and Stepping/Servo Motion Controls. Supported operating systems include WinCE, Windows XP Embedded, and Linux. Even though the GEME is highly integrated in the base configuration, the modular architecture makes it ideal for factory automation, machine automation, and Adlink's own High Speed Link real time remote I/O applications.
