Hometronic uses secure and reliable RF links throughout the home, and a secure multi-frequency transmission system ensures reliable and consistent operation. Using a single wall-mounted unit - the Hometronic manager - homeowners can set up several profiles, such as 'wake up', 'leaving', 'arriving', 'evening', 'party' and 'holiday', that match their lifestyle, each programmed with various lighting patterns, inside and outside the home, regulating temperatures in each room and switching appliances at pre-programmed times. If desired, it can detect a burst pipe and turn off the water supply, shut off the gas in the event of a leak, or even water the plants in the garden.
